Privately owned lands combine to provide a variety of game for hunting including the Merriam’s turkey, antelope, white tail and mule deer, elk, bighorn sheep, grouse and ring neck pheasant. For avid fishermen the area's bodies of water offer a variety of fish including trout, large-mouth bass, bluegill, channel catfish, northern pike and yellow perch.
